Happy Holidays

Posted: December 16, 2011 in Uncategorized

Well, here we are a day before my 26th birthday and a week before Christmas. Time is flying by and I’m just now getting into full swing offseason prep. I took all of November off from training to let my body rest up and heal from any minor injuries. The first of this month I started my full blown prep with george Farah and I’m growing and getting stronger literally everyday! I’m eating 6 full meals and one shake. All my meals are fairly moderate to high carbs and moderate protein for now. Easing my way into prep I’m keeping protein portions between 6-8 and most carb portions are 10oz for potatoes and 1-2 cups for rice and oats. I’m extremely anxious and excited going into this prep and really look forward to getting back full swing heavy training in the next couple weeks. I know I haven’t posted in a couple months but wanted to come on here for a quick update and to wish everyone a very happy holidays. I’m very grateful for my healthy family and love and support from my few real and true friends. I plan to post progress pics from here on all way leading up to my 2012 season this summer.
Thank you all for continued support.
Happy holidays.

Offseason Official

Posted: October 9, 2011 in Uncategorized

As writing this am gearing up for an official start to my offseason prep into my spring season including jr nationals 2012. It’s now time to flip that switch, buckle down and set forth on the task ahead. I’ve put together a solid team in which I am blessed to work with and surround myself with on a daily basis.
My weight is currently 220lbs and growing….
My training business is busier than ever and my busier schedule just helps me focus that much more. By helping people on a daily basis achieve goals in the gym is a major force in driving my own motivation while pushing thru the daily grind of my workouts.
I’m excited to begin my prep and will include you all in my ride to be the best I can possibly be come June 2012.

Contact me for one on one training or for online training and offseason/contest prep. Myself along with my clients will no doubt kick some serious ass next year in and outside the gym!

Patience

I’ve learned over the years nothing in this sport happens over night. I’ve learned to be patient and accept time passing to improve from my past. This is the first year I can say f*^% that and am pushing everything I have every workout. This offseason since day one following the metropolitans I turned it up to a whole new level. I’m tried of waiting for improvements especially when my offseasons in the past were half assed and stages below priority. I’m now training for a purpose. I’m training to win. Each workout I’m focusing on improving and getting better each time. Because at the end of the day, all I really can do is that. Make sure I give it my all. My blood sweat and tears. This year, I’m leaving it all on the gym floor. Time to make dreams realities. I’m done being patient. I’m tired of just dreaming…

Moving forward

Posted: May 4, 2011 in Uncategorized

Always moving forward. After 4 months of studying and taking 6 quizzes and writing 6 page essays I finally just completed the 200 question final exam and passed to be AFPA certified personal trainer! Another credential to keep AbombFitness at the top!
Training has been great getting back into swing of things and getting on track with meals. I am eating alot more red meat now in offseason to keep me big and full. My weight is right around 205 which is 20lbs up from contest weight last month so I’m very happy with that and going to stay lean as possible for my whole offseason prep until I start dieting again next march. It hasnt been easy eating clean with ALL this Easter candy around!! My girlfriend makes the best Easter baskets and knows exactly what to put in them!!
Taking a vacation this weekend and am excited to get away and relax with the wife , it is much needed after my show and now finally passing my exam! Look forward to start training clients back full time when I return and continue to build Abomb Fitness!
Interested in working together , it’s not too late just click the Abomb Fitness page at the top for direct contact info.
Until I get back I’m still training my butt off and spending relaxing nights on the couch with our puppy Gia. Love her so much!!
Peace

Training has been kickstarted this past week and it feels good to get back into the gym and just move things around. In about 4 weeks time I plan to begin my official offseason prep for the 2012 jr nationals. Really stepping it up and taking it to another level. So watch out!!
Today is Easter sunday one of my favorite holidays consumed of family and lots of good food. As you can see our puppy Gia is all ready in her festive Easter scarf And when your no longer dieting you look forward to holidays like this! Legs are still shot from yesterday’s workout, first time squatting back since the show but felt good getting 4 sets in for reps.

First day back

Posted: April 17, 2011 in Uncategorized

20110417-011522.jpg

This morning started off right with a HUGE breakfast at one of the best breakfast/lunch restaurant spots in new York, Maureens Kitchen. Started off with their famously delicious oatmeal bowl which is filled with assorted nuts, Berries and bread covered In hot milk. Then moved onto an omellete made with egg whites , fresh spinach , jack cheese and sausage. With whole wheat toast , home fries and side of bacon. Then following that I ordered a French toast crousaint filled with blueberries , mangos and cream cheese. Was so full I could barely even walk out when I was done but delicious!!!!
Today I’m heading back into the gym to hit legs with big Jerry Scalesse. Plan to just go in and move the blood around alittle bit and work off all this food I’ve been consuming this week of rest I’ve had. My weight is around 205 lbs. That’s about 20 lbs up from last Saturday. I plan to get back on program with eating and continue cardio thru out The week. I begin full blown offseason prep may 15 th And I’ve never been so motivated to kill the weights than I do now. Excited to make the improvements I need this offseason and continue proving to everyone where I truly belong in this sport.
